Functional Glass Workshop (Full Day)
In this workshop students will be taught a variety of techniques employed in creating functional glassware, such as simple vessels, pipes, and more. Students will collaborate with instructors one-on-one to determine what exactly they would like to go about making and how to execute that goal. This course consists of roughly 8 hours of studio time, divided between 6 hours of hands on instruction and practice followed by 2 hours of open studio access for students to work on their own. This workshop is beneficial to glassblowers of all levels, but is primarily aimed at new & beginning glass workers looking to make leaps forward in their knowledge and understanding of the medium.
Class begins at 9 am and goes until roughly 5 or 6pm, lunch provided.
