Flaring tools are used for many different operations at the bench as well as on the lathe.
Carbon core is incases in a copper jacket. 3/8 inch carbon core can be sharpened over and over in a ordinary pencil sharpener. Carbon core tools you glass clean and crisp, with no residue. Can be used for opening small holes, sculpting and flaring feet.
