About Us

Founded by Don Yeandle in October of 2013, American Glass Roots got started as a rent shop renting out torches and torch stations to borosilicate glass artist of all different skill levels. Our glass blowing studio and warehousing facilities border's a forest reserve in Arlington, Texas. Back when AGR first started I remember coming up here as a beginner glass blower and remember seeing that they had two or so colors for sale. I was like what they sell glass here, even though it was just two colors it was still awesome! But since then AGR has come along way carrying full lines of Trautman Glass, Glass Alchemy, Northstar Glass, and Paramore Glass.

We are glass artist here at American Glass Roots and understand what glass artist want and expect when purchasing glass, so we strive to give you the best experience possible by offering low prices, shipping out your orders as soon as we get them, and providing great customer service. 

We offer glass blowing and lamp working classes and you can rent time behind a torch or a station to setup your own torch. You can also purchase everything we sell online at our in house store. Our address is: 7100 W Interstate 20 Arlington, Texas 76017

Hourly Rates:

• Minor               $5.00 per Hour
• Major/ Minor    $8.00 per Hour

Daily Rates:

• Minor               $20 per 1/2 Day
• Major/ Minor    $30.00 per 1/2 Day
• Minor               $35.00 per Day
• Major/ Minor    $40.00 per Day

Weekly Rates:

• Minor               $140.00 per Week
• Major/ Minor    $160.00 per Week

Monthly Rates:

• Minor               $420.00 per Month
• Major/ Minor    $480.00 per Month
